Privacy Notice

Last updated: September 2026

1. Who we are

Navette FX (trading as "navetteFX") is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. As controller, we decide why and how your personal data is processed when you use our website and membership service. Contact: desk@navettefx.com.

2. What we collect and why

  • Account data — name/handle, email address, login credentials (hashed). Used to create and secure your account and provide the Service. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Community content — blog comments, forum posts, likes, poll votes, trade-journal entries you choose to record. Used to operate member features. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Support messages — emails you send us. Used to respond and resolve issues. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
  • Usage and technical data — pages visited, feature usage, device identifiers, IP address, browser type. Used for security, fraud prevention, and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests (and consent where required for non-essential cookies).

Payment card and billing details are collected directly by Paddle (our Merchant of Record) — we never see or store your full card number.

3. Who we share data with

  • Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, analytics, and support tooling providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
  • Paddle (Merchant of Record) — for the sale of membership, subscription management, payment processing, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where needed.
  • Authorities — where disclosure is required by law.

4. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above — for account data, while your account is active; for billing-related records, as required by tax and accounting law. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email desk@navettefx.com — we respond within one month.

6. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and access controls limiting who can view personal data.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. Where we use analytics cookies, they are used to understand aggregate usage and improve the Service. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in.

8. Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be signposted on the site. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
